NEW EDGE Grant 2026 for Singapore Businesses: Funding, Eligibility and How to Apply!
Updated: 2 hours ago
One grant. 8 business areas. More ways to grow, digitalise and expand.

UP TO 70% Support for SMEs
UP TO 30% Support for Non-SMEs
8 BUSINESS AREAS
From Automation to Sustainability
Note: Percentage support levels differ by activity, so the amount of funding available will depend on the specific solution or project applied for, according to Enterprise Singapore.
The EDGE Grant 2026 is designed to make business support easier to understand. Instead of looking across separate grant schemes, companies can now refer to one main Enterprise Singapore framework for a wide range of projects, from digital tools to overseas expansion.
What is the EDGE Grant?
From 30 September 2026, the EDGE Grant became the main Enterprise Singapore grant framework replacing PSG, EDG and MRA for new applications. It brings business support together under one programme covering 8 business areas and over 150 activities.
Businesses can find support across:
Automation – Automate processes using equipment, robotics and smart technologies to improve productivity.
Digitalisation – Adopt digital solutions such as ERP, cloud, AI, analytics and workflow systems.
Business Strategy – Improve business planning, operations, market strategy and business models.
Financial Management – Strengthen financial planning, reporting, controls, risk management and performance tracking.
Innovation – Develop new or improved products, services and technology solutions.
Internationalisation – Support overseas expansion, market entry, partnerships, licensing and international business planning.
Standards – Adopt and obtain relevant standards and certifications to improve quality and market access.
Sustainability – Improve ESG, resource efficiency, sustainability planning and sustainable products or services.
That means a company looking to adopt accounting software, automate manual processes, improve internal capabilities or expand overseas can identify the EDGE activity that best matches the project.

How much support can businesses receive?
💰 Overall EDGE Grant Cap: Up to S$100,000 per year
The S$100,000 amount is the total shared annual grant cap across eligible EDGE activities. This cap refreshes on 1 April each year.
For Automation and Digitalisation, support across these projects is subject to a combined annual grant cap of S$30,000, within the overall S$100,000 EDGE Grant cap.

These figures matter because they help companies plan. If several projects are being considered in the same financial year, the grant cap should be reviewed before committing to vendors, quotations or project timelines.
How does the EDGE process work?
The basic flow is simple:
Choose Solution → Get Quotation → Apply → Complete Project → Submit Claim
EDGE operates on a reimbursement basis. That means the company usually pays for and completes the approved project first, then submits a claim for the approved grant support.
A practical approach is to prepare the quotation, confirm the correct activity, check eligibility, then submit the application before signing off on work with the vendor.

Planning to apply for EDGE Grant support?
The EDGE Grant can be a useful way to reduce the cost of adopting solutions, but timing matters. Confirm eligibility, get the right quotation, submit the application first, and only start after the proper steps are completed.
